Lost your pet?
If you either lose your own pet, or find a stray animal, immediately notify the Dane County Humane Society at (608) 838-0413 or lostpets@giveshelter.org.

Look online for:
Having your dog microchipped, and tags with current phone numbers are 2 of the best ways to make sure they return home. Also, keep a photo of your pet that shows it's markings. This can help identify the animal in the shelter.
If you pet is staying at another location, have an id tag made with that address and phone number. Leaving a letter stating that person has authority of the animal will allow them to claim it, should that be necessary.
