Why should you hire a dog walker or pet sitter?
-As a trainer I've seen a lot of behavior problems helped or alleviated by exersize and mental stimulation.
-When you are away, having a dog there can keep the house safe from possible intruders.
-It avoids the upset in their daily routine, and the stress from new surroundings.
-Should there be an emergency, you have someone knowledgeable to handle the situation.
-Your pet receives extra special attention while you’re gone
-Provides a break from the day while you are gone. This can help with unwanted behaviors brought on by boredom and too much energy.
-Your dog gets a mid day potty break and play session!
In-home boarding vs. kennel boarding
-Not all dogs do well in a kennel boarding situation with the noise and commotion due to various reasons.
-They have the comforts of home.
-They can keep a similar routine.
-More one on one time with the dog.
-Should there be an emergency, you have someone knowledgeable to handle it.
I've been a dog lover all my life and have been fortunate enough to turn that love of dogs into a career. In 2009 I started training dogs through a local store. I loved seeing the dogs grow and learn, and teaching the owners how to have the dog they want. I have also volunteered with Shelter From The Storm rescue in Madison working with their dogs. I have 3 of my own and they each have taught me so much and continue to teach me each day.
Can't wait to meet you and your furry friends!
